Audio video sync ?

Hey everyone,
I am still on a powerbook g4 running Leopard 10.5.8
I want to present a 50 minutes video with the following specifications
1920 x 1080. QuckTime data codec is Apple ProRes422(HQ) or Apple ProRes422.
and synchronize it with a 50 minutes .aiff.
Anybody who had experience on this, can you suggest which is the best and safest way to do it? I do not trust the powerbook to be plugged into a firewire audio interface and to a projector with DVI cable and this big size of video. It will certainly crush I think, although the audio part is soft [no plug ins or manipulation in real time].
Can you tell me how it could be possible to do this with no risk of losing quality and synchronization? Using other laptop maybe? The 2 connected with ethernet? What software the laptop responsible for the projection will run and how it will be synchronized?
Is it possible to do this only with one laptop [for audio] and another device [blu ray player maybe] which could be perfectly synchronized? If yes, how??
Need help asap!
Thanks
