i always fake being uneducated because my hyper-intelligence and over-achiever personality tend to put people off....

Yeah, I hear you. I was a dual major with a B.S. in Accounting & Computer Science, followed by a CPA and a Master's in Computer Engineering....got into the field for a few years and peaked at nice phat 6-figure salary but hated the corporate political bullshit so I got back into the music thing. I've absolutely nailed redneck speak and the Orange county surfer-dude-meth-head punkass personna, but I'm finding the whole hip-hop gangsta thing to be a challenge. Just recently, I discovered that spray-on tan,a fake mustache, three-day stubble plus a bit of perspiration gets me right into the Tex-Mex pocket.
