BOOK 1G/1.25g ram/MBOX
PT6.4/Ableton Live 4.04
I just install my live 4.04(i have live3 before but delete it already)
when I open the "instrument---ableton live in aux track",
it can't open the live.app like before,
If I open the LIVE bymyself later,
it shows up
"The Rewire master application has detected a differnt version of Live than one last used.
Live will not run as ReWire slave unless you restart both the current Rewire master app and Live"
then i resart both, it always shows the same msg,
HELP!HELP!

Hi iamjungle,
the message text is a bit confusing in version 4.0.4 (so we changed that text since version 4.1).
Each new Live version must be started once standalone to install its ReWire engine.
- You must start Live 4.0.4 once standalone (so without have running ProTools).
- Then again quit Live 4.0.4.
- The start ProTools and open "instrument---Ableton live in aux track" there
- Then start Live 4.0.4 and it should run in ReWire slave mode
Please let me know if this works for you.
regards,
Alex

I try what u said but it still show the same msg,
I even re-install the protools but it's still the same.
I can open Reason in protools, but when I open Live it only show
the "ABLETON LIVE REWIRE" .

Hi iamjungle,
Please look into the "/Library/Application Support " folder of your OS X system partition. There you should find a link named "Ableton Live Engine".
Make a "Get Info" of this file and check to where the Original file is located.
Does it still refer to Live 3?
regards,
Alex
