Constatant crashes

I have a help ticket in with ableton but it has been days and no response. 8.2.2 was running perfectly but unfortunately I did an update anyway to 8.2.7 beta. I have deleted the beta and now have 8.2.7 but ever since updating I have been experiencing crashes all of the time. It is to the point where i don't even bother using ableton right now cause I know it will crash withing a half hour of use. What sucks is that I am on vacation from work and school and just want to make music but am unable to...any suggestions? aren't there temp files that can get screwed up with updating sometimes? where are these located in windows 7?
