Save Dialog Box Disapearing

This happened to me tons of times now on the latest Live version, since I use it on OS X Lion.
I try to save my project, then I do something with my mouse/keyboard/wacom and the dialog box dissapears, and I can't find it or bring it back in any way. From that moment on all the options in the drop down menus are greyed out, so I can't save, load, quit or do anything like that. The only option I have is to force quit Live and re-open it and recover the project...
