Hi, everybody I'm new in this forum & sorry about my broken english...
I would like to insert wav files or something in a instrument like operator...
How can I do this ?? Can I only use for example the operator presets from the "Livepack" ??
Thanks a Lot and Happy New Year ^^

Your english is plenty good
Anyway, using wav files wouldn't make any sense with Operator, since Operator is only a synthesizer - it's designed to produce sounds from scratch. It takes MIDI as input and produces audio as output. The presets are just prearranged positions for all the knobs and settings in a copy of Operator. You don't have to be restricted to them though, you can move the knobs however you want.
Now, you might be thinking of loading a wav file up in a device that plays back that wav file and modifies it in interesting ways. In that case, you're doing it right, but you just have the wrong instrument! You need a sampler. Live comes with one called Simpler, and there's a larger one with more features called Sampler which you can buy as an add-on.
Hope this helps!

Livepacks generally put things into the Live Library, which you can look through with the Live Browser. They'll show up as presets you can choose from. It's kind of like unpacking a zip file - the locations of files are based on how person who made the pack set them up. Most packs seem to put their stuff under their own folder name somewhere (probably under Operator in the device list) but this isn't always the case.
