getting ready for 2012 gigging and had a thought regarding freezing.
it would be nice if you could freeze each device at a time, this would be good for live where you could freeze say the sampler and have the effects unfrozen on the same channel.
if you know your not going to edit it, then freeze it and save cpu.

throw the effects on a different track, link your frozen sampler track to the effect track and you have the same possibility.

aye i do know that trick, but feel it gets too much when you have loads of tracks live.
would just be easier to have the option
