Mashine with mackie template controlling ableton 8 issue

I use NI maschine to control ableton live 8 using the mackie control template provided by NI. I'm also on a very capable PC. My problem is when I bank through the devices(instruments) I get an audio glitch(drop out). For example when you load up a set, the maschine displays the first 8 tracks in your set on the knob page display on the hardware. Then to go to the next 8 tracks(devices) you just push the bank>(button) and so forth. When I do this, however, I get a little drop out, meaning there is no audio for a second or two.(it doesn't pause, just drops out then in) And it doesn't happen every time, Only every once in a while, usually when I'm trying to scroll to a track fast and I have to jump 2 or more pages. This is really embarrassing, especially when there is an audience present. Please help. Thanks.
