Anyone know the status of the PDX Ableton user's group? Tried to contact the person who was in charge of it, but it seems to be defunct. Would love to meet up with some folks and trade ideas.

Still a newbie when it comes to ableton but learning as fast as I can. Started with the akai edition, upgraded to suite few weeks ago.

I goto work and read about ableton, come home and pratice/learn. <repeat>

Howdy folks, I'm the culprit in question for organizing the meetup. I'm trying to find a good venue to hold it in. I just got a large studio space so that might work as well. Ideas for a location?

my name is John Henry Dale and I too created a Portland Ableton Users Group (myspace.com/portableton) back in 2008 which has also since lapsed into inactivity. Truthfully, it never really took off for a variety of reasons. But I think it would be good to try again. I think part of the reason these groups may not have taken off is that the Portland Producers Group on Facebook kind of encompasses a lot of Ableton discussions. But it would be good to have a more Ableton-focused group, imo.
Thoughts ?
