Please help- Everything coming out of Ableton is distorting!

Hey guys,
Just recently bought a Fender Mustang V head that came with a Fender Version of Ableton Live 8. Everything is the same as the Suite I presume..
Anyway I have set it up to play MIDI with my keyboard and record Audio through the Fender Universal ASIO. I can record everything fine however..
When I play everything back after 20-40 seconds everything will start clipping and becoming distorted. I have resorted to keeping my buffer screen open and adjusting the buffer size when it starts clipping, but after a while it will do the same on the new buffer setting. Same as when I tried to set it up using the test tone, no matter what buffer size I went to it would distort after 20-40 seconds.
Please help, really getting on my nerves.
