Ableton freezes when using ASIO with Focusrite Scarlett

Hi
I am unable to record using ASIO. After a minute or two Ableton Live 8 freezes and crashes every time without fail. It does not do this when using MME/DirectX.
my Audio interface is the Focusrite Scarlett 8in6, and I am not sure if its a problem with their ASIO drivers or Ableton Live 8 itself.
My system is Windows 7 64 bit with Intel i5 2500 3.3 ghz processor, 6 GB DDR3 RAM.
If anyone has had this problem please let me know! Thanks

I've had a scarlett since June, no problems whatsoever.
I'm also running Windows 7 64bit, and have used it on 8.2.2, 8.2.5 and 8.2.7
Have you gotten the latest drivers and firmware that were released in I think October?

yes sir, I am using Scarlett Mix Control version 1.1
I believe that has all the latest drivers and firmware?
If not please point me in the right direction, thankyou

I have Win7 64 bit with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6. I don't have Ableton issues, only MixControl issues, which includes freezing up/driver shutdown.
However, IF I'm recording in Ableton using my ASIO drivers with the Scarlett, and I get the MixControl shutdown/freeze, then it will ALSO freeze up Ableton, but it's more of an effect of the MixControl issue rather than an issue with Ableton. My workaround I found is that I MUST have MixControl X'd/exited out before I start recording in Ableton. Not minimized, but actually exited. Which is kind of a pain in the butt, because I can't alter any levels 'real time', but whatever, it's a workaround to the situation.
I don't know if this is the same as your issue, but it sounds possible that it might be.

We now have full release versions available of Scarlett MixControl and the Focusrite USB 2.0 driver (inc. with Scarlett MixControl) that fix several issues that users were experiencing with the earlier version of the driver:
