thanks

Anybody able to lend a bit more insight one this? I'll have an Ipad pretty quick here and am curious as to how they stack up and if the Lemur app is great enough where its worth ten times TouchOSC.

Depends on your needs. I tried Lemur, but couldn't see it replacing TouchOSC, with all the more complications and new learning it brought.

Apps like Lemur, Touchable, griid, KapturePad, TouchOSC, MidiTouch are all great in their own way.
It's really just down to personal preference and what your needs are.
You might find that you use some in the studio and others for live performance.

Best advice is just to buy n try all the ones that catch your attention.
It's not as if they are expensive, not as if you're buying kit for hundreds or thousands.

Touchable is a pretty good all-rounder as it lets you launch clips/scenes, change vol/sends/pan easily and also has the physics-type engine in the new version.
I only wish they would add the ability to create bespoke surfaces like you can in TouchOSC/Miditouch so that I could create a surface per song (as each have their own instruments/parameters to tweak) so that it's nice and simple.
