Audio Interference from Video Cable

Post by GDOGG » Sat Jan 14, 2012 9:21 pm

Quick query. Does anyone know how to stop interference with my speakers from my dvi port. I have a mini dvi to vga adapter plugged into my laptop so I can use my monitor when producing but this causes my Krks to output a noticeable buzz as soon as the mini dvi cable is plugged in. I'm using a firewire external soundcard, recently upgraded from a usb soundcard which has probably made the buzzing worse as my firewire's nearer the dvi? Is this fixable or there a workaround?

Cheers
