CPU Issues : Can Freeze or Consolidate help me here?

Hi There!
Could I be so bold as to ask a couple of questions? I have some gaps in my knowledge..
I have started using Ableton for my live show:
I am playing 10 songs all from one live set, 40 tracks in the Arrangement with 200 audio files in total..
These audio files are straight bounces from Logic.. I am using no internal Live devices, audio effects.. (yet!).. I am just running the show for stability in live..
It is quite stable, but I am getting the odd "D" and dropouts.. I have read about Freeze (this is more for lots of internal effects?) and Consolidate (this is more for editted audio? I have one whole track per song anyway).. but is there any other way of tidying up the arrangement view? And making it run more smoothly? I know in Logic and Cubase you can pack lots of Audio files up into a Folder.. is there an equivilent?
Also, If we change the set around is it possible (with a MIDI controller) to go from say 1st song -> 7th song -> 3rd song.. the way I see it at the moment you can only go back and forward one at a time on the markers?
Is there anything I should be doing in a different way? I am assuming I am right in putting all 10 songs in one Live Set?
Thanks in Advance!
