Can't find live devices (have no names)

Hi this is my first post, but as I am new to ableton it probably won't be my last.
I don't know what has happened but at first I thought all my instruments and effects had been deleted. It happened after I moved some projects onto a separate harddrive but I didn't move anything else.
It turns out, most of the effects/amps/isntruments are still under the devices folder, however none of them are named, they all just appear as "ableton device" and then the date modified.
What has happened?
