Automap 4 + Launchpad problems

So, i just got my launchpad,it works ok as a live controller but when i get into the automap server under the mixer/plugin tab i get this message
"Launchpad..no software to connect to"
I rebooted a couple of times, connected it to direct usb port but it's always the same
I already contacted novation support but in the meantime i wanted to install automap 3.4.7 version and it says i cannot install it cause there's a more recent version on my hd.
I just deleted the automapserver.app but apparently it's not enough
