I do not know how to make one of my controllers work on one single "drum rack" track only...even when I am playing/recording another midi track with a different controller and plug-in.

If I understand correctly what you want to do, it should work like this:

In the I/O section of the track you can choose from where (which controller) it gets its input signal: Look at the 2 boxes under the clips in the session view -> by default they are set to "All Ins" and "All channels"

1) So for each track set the "All Ins" to your controller like in this example (how I use it)
MIDI Track 1 (Drums): "Controller 1" (Oxygen61)
MIDI Track 2 (Synth) "Controller 2" (LPK 25)
2) Important: You have to arm both tracks, so that both MIDI tracks receive a signal! (On Windows you have to hold "STRG" and select both ARM Buttons - If you're on Mac, like I can see in you signature, look into the manual)
3) Just as a reminder: Also check that in the Midi PREFERENCES your controllers are enabled

In addition if you right click on the drum rack it should give you an option to dedicate one of your controllers to that rack. Midi remote script might have to be setup for this, not sure.
