Here is a nice little template to have some fun with Live's midi routing.
The first 8 tracks send midi to track 9
Track 9 sends the midi to the last 8 tracks.
On track 9 you can play around with velocity. The pitch plugin can go 12 semitones up or down. And the random plugin is great for breaks.

15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

Great way to start a new track thanks. I'm also taking full use of clips with automation in audio channel which monitor other audio channels. Cheers H2K

Yeah, it's a cool template. Machinate did the work on the scale plugins.
Ableton needs to include more midi plugins and virtual midi to make it more challenging.
You can do much much more with routing. But unfortunately you currently need other applications for that.
We still have ideas though
