Transfering project from one computer to another.

Hey everybody. I'm new to Ableton and I need some help. I need to transfer my Ableton projects from my Desktop PC to my laptop and vice versa but when I copy a project (created on my Desktop PC) to my laptop and open it, the audio effects disappear from the tracks. This also happens the other way around. I tried exporting it to an Ableton package, but it doesn't work. Do you have any solutions? Thanks in advance.
