Sustain pedal on stop...

Hi guys,
One thing that keeps bugging me when programming synths/piano is that the sustain pedal doesn't shut off when I press stop.
I keep having to either re-press the sustain pedal or really quickly press start/stop to get Live to stop before the sustain pedal is activated in the clip.
Is there a workaround to this?
Best
Fredrik

+1. Yeah, this is an annoying thing that Live does. The best work around is to go to the sustain pedal data in the clip and edit it, but...
It. Should. Not. Happen.
I'm so dramatic sometimes.

Yeah, same problem here. I wish Ableton would implement a "stop sustain pedal on stopping clip" function.

Same is true for all the other performance controllers: pitch bend, sustain, modulation.
Said Performance controllers should reset to '0' on Transport Stop and when a new Clip is launched.

How is this not implemeted yet?
Most other DAWs are intelligent enough to reset performance controls on transport stop.

Hey, it's been 8 years since my original post. Haha.
Yes it's mad that this is not changed yet.
I guess sustian pedals are not so common among Ableton users?

It's enough of a make or break deal to make me want to go back to Logic.
Seriously, basic stuff like MIDI chase options should be a standard feature in any MIDI compatible DAW.
I mean, I guess it's to be expected from a DAW that doesn't have a MIDI event editor.
