hello all,

i thought i would share my newest creation and future inclusion to my works.
i have been messing with the launchpad for about 2 years, and one such thing i wanted to do was make each row independent. it was a hard and lengthy ordeal, but happily i have made the launchpad to do polyrhythms.
with the help of max/msp.

its the first of its kind ever for the launchpad and am happy about this.
anyhow, here is a brief video on it, there are plenty features still to come

Nice job. I've seen a reaktor patch that is similar but each row is not independent like what you have setup

it has taken me somewhat 2 years to properly sort this out, more or less an on again, off again affair. luckily not always on it, but just needed to get it done. and yes it was a bitch.
so when i got it done today i laughed out loud like an evil scientist

what im looking to do is brush up on the max stuff a bit more and add some more capabilities, such as control step amounts and also have a different colour when it hits, say orange. plus just sure make it runs very nicely. also see if i can get my second launchpad to run alongside it.
and make an external to release for everyone.

but i have seen plenty of sequencers that people have made, which are all fun and in their own way.
but just nothing polyrhythmic, which is what im more interested in.

this is really cool. I've being to implement the red band playhead indicator and totally failed to get it to work. i can imagine the complexity in getting the rows to be managed - and yet its really instrumenty. respect.
