Audio losing quality when put in sampler/impulse

is it losing quality or is it just the volume?
i just experimented with this to see if i could get phase cancelation to match the audio file with the way impulse plays the file
so far i managed to get them to cancel each other out with these settings...
volume velocity down to 0%
decay time to 10s and switch it to 'gate' instead of 'trigger'
make sure ur midi note is as long as the sample, i looped both for 2 bars in session view
