hi,

I need a function (in options - preferences - midi/sync or record) that enables my external transport-controller (yamaha motif ES) to continue playing in arrangement view, after stopping somethere in the timeline. Right now, when stopping and starting again, the cursor always jumps back to the beginning of the timeline.

This funtion could be named: "enabling stop and start continuosly" or "start/stop at the same place in timeline"

Additional wishes:

very important:

- OMF support
- enabling mastering-racks alsways on/visible, when clicking in another track
- 64 bit-support
- enabling editing not corresponding midi-values of external midi-hardware-controller

Don't know if this works in conjunction with a controller but Ctrl + Space restarts Live at a set point in the Arrangement View (wherever you last clicked) and Shift + Space continues playback exactly where you stopped.

Thats it, it doesn't work with a transport controller at the moment. When restarting, Live restarts from the beginning, but not exactly where you stop.

I know novation have included key commands with automap but i dont know if the ableton template can be amended to include shift space

you can set the start point in live so play will start the song at a different point

I know, but I want to Start - Stop - and continue only using a transport control but not the mouse or PC-keyboard
