Terrible Latency issues Lion OSX 10.7.3 example provided

Hello everyone,
I have been experiencing terrible latency issues when recording, and just recently noticed that some of my previous tracks (previous to upgrading to Lion @ 10.7.2) are now lagging off the metronome. The example provided is a recoding of a single organ note, no vibrato or tremolo. The sound is being disoriented by the glitch.
I am using
Ableton Live 8.2.8
Buffer size: 512 samples
CPU usage: (while recording example) 10%
Only the in and outs necessary were active. Mono in.
CPU specs:
MAC PRO
MAC OS X 10.7.3
2 x 2.4 GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon
8 GB 1006 MHz DDR3
I am also using a M-audio NRV10, which is connect via Firewire 400 to Firewire 800 and the latest driver for the NRV10 has been installed.
**note** This problem still occurred prior to updating Mac OSX 10.7.2
Example

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
