Only one drop-down box in parameter selection?

Might be a "noob" question a and simple answer to it.. but browsing the manual now since about an hours can find anything... 
For some reason on some of my instrument lanes the second dropdown-box for slecting the device and parameter to automate (and on one even (+) button) disappeared. Have no idea what I did.. but it sux.. espcialy on the device where I do not even have the (+) anymore.. drawing the evenlopes on this mini-lane and beeing able to only see one at the time is kind of annoying^^
Does someone has idea what button I pushed, or better, what button I need to push to turn it back into a normal "2 dropdown-boxes and (+) button" lane?
