I'm looking for a tool or app for the Mac OS that will convert 6 channel (surround) AIFF-C files (24bit/44.100khz) output from Logic to 2 channel files acceptable by Live. I've tried Audacity, but the only uncompressed export options I see convert it to 16 bit PCM.

I already own Wave Editor, but couldn't figure out how to covert it to stereo from 6 channels. I'll poke around again.....

Yeah, Wave Editor does not offer a way to bounce the 6 channels down to stereo as far as I can see. If you know how, please let me know.

I would do a search at doom9.org. Can't access it here.

It's just a single vocal, I think the vocalist simply had that track set to 5.1 without really knowing it. I think I may have found a way to get what I want/need in Audacity now.....

you can extract/delete channels or sum them in Wave Editor.
