Ableton Forum

Hi there, i have a problem mapping midi controller with ableton the midi is activated in ableton preferences the yellow light in top right flashes when controller is moved but when i press the midi map tab nothing happens and the light does NOT flash no mappings are added I'm finding this really frustrating and have tried everything i can think of just short of reinstalling ableton it worked fine on windows i have recently moved to a mac don't know if this should make a difference

Make sure that "Remote" is turned on for that controller in the MIDI Preferences.
