has anyone had success using the virus with virus control and maschine together
if delay comp is on then maschine is too slow for playing the pads
if its off the virus is sloppy
and if i use the virus as regular hardware i have a hard time getting the arp too sync nice

suggestions?

mpb 2.4 quadcore 8gigs of ram osx 10.7.3

Whichever you want to be master then make sure that slaves are receiving

There's a bunch of us in the same boat. There's a new recording arm preference in the latest version of Live which was supposed to help the problem, but it's not a 'fix'.

wow that is really horrendous
this had better be fixed in version 9 which also needs to be 64 bit too seeing how i would like to be able to use more tan 4 gigs of ram
i am not geting out of memory issues with my beloved omnisphere

my problem is when the virus is in vc mode maschines pads are so behind its ridiculous
not a problem when the virus is just used as hardware
a nice feature would be if you could lock a record arm in place i guess

does your virus arps drift if used as hardware without vc?

is there a way to use maschine in standalone but have the groups routed to different live mixer channels?
rewire maybe?

btw five12 numerology as a plugin with a launchpad running simpler or impulse is a pretty sick drum sequencing setup but you can't "play" any pads like maschine
but it's realtime pattern manipulation powers can't be beat though

What is the current status with Live 9?
Is it still an issue?
