As the subject description says..
I'm simply wondering how to make notes to legato (the function that exists in Logic), but in Ableton's pianoroll/when working with MIDI. I have died of urging needs for this function!
I'm also wondering how to mute midi notes within the piano roll (like Logic), I've noticed that there's a function called "Deactivate" notes, but it's not mapped to any key, is it possible to map this to a key such as "M" for mute? and make it deactivation and reactivating it when pressing the same key again?
Same notelength, again in MIDI. How to do it? any keycommand? if not, how do I set one up?
It's really important for me to work fast in MIDI.
A million thanks!
Notes to Legato, Mute notes & Same notelength
Re: Notes to Legato, Mute notes & Same notelength
Same note length is easy.
select all the notes that you need to adjust,
grab the right hand end of the longest note
drag left to make the note length as short as possible and then drag right to set the new length.
