Hey, I what to know is
how do you go about connecting your kaosspad through the usb, so you can use the effects on a midi vst of Ableton.
For example, I want to select brass brassinsky (or any other Ableton instrument) and control it with the kp3 or most importantly have the loop go through the KP3 effects.
Are these things possible?
I connect the pad,and get the signal response on that blinking midi thing on the top right of Ableton, but no sound.
What are the preference settings to make this work?

Id love some help because this is pretty much why I got the KP3

you cant, the USB on kaoss gear is MIDI only, you need to set up an external FX and plug the I/O of the KP3 to spare I/O on your soundcard

to only ose MIDI control the usb will do tho

Thanks for the reply but how do i do that, coz i really dont understand what you just said...
do you have a link for a walk through ? It sucks that kp3 most basic and only function cannot be used with vsts on a simpler basis.
Any suggestions on how to use the kaosspad with vst's?
