New Devices:
Improved devices:
- Multi LFO/envelope-tool, syncable to tempo and groove, so that you can modulate anything you want. The envelope can also function as a sidechain compressor, but with unlimited possible shapes, or as a transient designer.
A dynamic EQ with sidechain, with DeEsser presets.
A good Convolution Reverb
Multiband distortion
Transient designer
Good master metering, with correlation-meter, an spectrum analyzer with m/s, an signal analyser. RMS and peak metering etc.
Melodyne-like function
Improved devices:
- Sidechain to MIDI option on at least the gate and the compressor.
A spectrum analyzer ínside the EQ, with pre and post EQ option.
Simpler sync to bpm (envelope + LFO)
Envelope drawing in Simpler
Unison mode in Simpler.
Same timestretch modes in Simpler as in the clipview
Drag and drop samples from clipview into Simpler with al the envelopes attached
EQ + Autofilter should have selectable slopes for de HP and LP (12, 24, 36, 48dB/oct.).
The EQ should also have an 'analog' button, so that it creates a EQ like an old analog EQ for artistic EQing.
The GR meter on the compressor should have values, peak and RMS.
Compressor with Autorelease.
A good Bitcrusher, not like the one in Ableton.
- An import en export function for Audio- and MIDI-tracks, including synths, effects and automation. When you are working on a song and you now that you have another song with a great synthpart which you know will fit great, then it would be very cool if you can insert that synth-track.
You should be able to converge multiple midifiles into one.
Bend-option for bending automation lines.
Draw tool for envelope drawing with options as: sinus, arc, parabole, etc. + snap to grid/point on curve function.
Note chaising. So you don't have to start at the beginning of a long riser to hear something.
It should be possible to apply a groove to an audio- or MIDI-track, instead of just to a part.
Freeze + flatten should also work on grouptracks.
If you use 'Export Audio' then there should be a function that imports the audiofile automaticaly in a new audiotrack. Like Cubase has.
Stack recording: when you are recording in loopmode, every loop is recorded in a seperate sub-track.
Editting should also be possible in the arrange view and not just in de clip view, or you should be able to show or stack multiple midi and audioclips in clipview so that you can edit one clip while you constantly compare it to the other clips.
A function where you can solo or mute parts and where you can audition parts just by cliking on it with the mouse. So just that parts on a track and not the entire track.
