Hey guys,

I have 2 midi controllers connected via USB (Oxygen 8 and Vestax Pad-One). I want to assign my Vestax to a drum rack, and assign my Oxygen 8 to an instrument rack. Is it possible?

Hi, yes it is.

1) Check if both controllers have "Track" enabled in the Midi-Preferences.

2) Set the (midi-) input type for each track (the first box in the I/O section, which is by default set to "All Ins"

Track 1 (instrument): Set Input Type to "Oxygen 8"
Track 2 (drum rack): Set input to "Vestax Pad-One"

3) Arm both tracks: "Strg" + Click the Arm-button (on Windows)

Now each (armed) track is only triggered from the Midi-Controller you selected in step 2.
