When attempting to open a file submitted as an example my system tries to open an older version of Live that had already been deleted.

The attempt just stalls and hangs there. Only a rebboot gets rid of it. Task Manager does not even report it.

I can open another later version of Live over the top of the stalled version and then load the file in question.

i guess the first step to solve this is making sure there is only one verion of Live on your computer. And the advised version is Live 4.1.1 .

If it still doesn't work. Then send your live-set (just the .als file, no samples) to [email protected]
They have been able to fix corrupt sets in the past.
