MIDI keeps stopping in the middle

Hi, trying to make a shepard's tone and I have three instances of a MIDI note going for 8 bars: F#2, C3, and F#3. The F#3's audio keeps stopping at the end of the 6th bar and its driving me nuts. I tried playing the notes myself, and the F#2 sustains longer than the F#3. Any idea what's goin on?
edit: i used white noise within operator, created an audio file from an eight-bar loop and am trying to pitch differently three instances
