Hi guys,

really simple question, I guess. When creating an instrument rack, is it possible to fill a rack space with an operator, AND still being able to play different notes within this rack space? My problem is that I want to create different synth into the same channel and still being able to play different notes for each of them. Otherwise, my project will have 120 channels, which i don't want.

Thanks!

Robo

Not quite sure what you mean....do you mean you want to stack synths?
You could seperate the synths by chain selector or key zones
But im having a hard time understanding your question

Sorry about my english :)

I want to create a drum rack with many different synth in it. The problem is that I can't play those synth when they are in an drum rack, they can only play a single note for each of them... So, do create an instrument rack and sidechain every different synth is the only way to have multiple synth into 1 channel?

Thanks!

Robo

In drumRacks you have to open the I/O tab, and choose "All Notes" for the incoming notes.

You can also use InstrumentRacks put synths on different chains and use the chain Selector to choose them.

OR Make a blank midi track recieving your keyboard input. Put different synths on seperate tracks, for each one of these tracks set the "midi in" to recieve from your keyboard.
If you like you can group all of these tracks, an add FX to the group.

ok, thanks JuanSolo. It's really usefull!

One last question, when we group tracks, is there a way to rename the tracks slots in the group channel? because right now, it doesn't allow me to do it, each slots are hatched.

By the way, nice nickname, lolll

Thanks!
