MPD32 - "Momentary" buttons not arming tracks?

Hey all,
I just got an MPD32, using the Live Lite preset and Mpd32 control surface setting in live. The buttons should arm the tracks???
I want to set the buttons to momentary instead of toggle, cause the lights get confusing (staying on even after a new track is armed). But with momentary they now won't arm the tracks. When I press a button, it just flashes for a second, but never arms the track. This is driving me crazy.
I swear that with my mpk61(which I just sold), when I set the buttons to momentary instead of toggle, the buttons still armed the track, the light just didn't stay lit, which is fine with me.
How can I get this reaction with my mpd32?
