Usually I make each new song use a new sample, but in this case, I made an exception. The second song, Rising air, I made when, while working on the first song, I hit upon a particular combination of pitch-shifting and a certain MIDI note that produced everything I love about drone music. It reminded me of Pete Namlook's Music for Urban Meditation.
