In the instance where I want to play several scenes in the order that I have them arranged, using the return key will launch the next scene and then highlight the one after that...it's great not having to use the mouse or separate assigned keys to trigger the next scene.
however, when I try to do this ONLY the 1st bar of the scene will play. all other methods of scene change work properly (assigned keys, manual selection, follow actions) so it's not a huge deal and easy to work around... but it would be nice to have it working properly. has anyone else had this problem, or could it be I've just overlooked some setting or option?
scene change not working properly...
Hi sgingras,
I am not sure if I understand it right.
- To which version of Live do you refer?
- Does it happen always with each scene in each Live set or only with a certain Live set?
- When you say it plays only the 1st bar...what happens after that. Are all clips stopped? Is the transport play still running?
regards,
Alex

HI, thanks for your reply, sorry I wasn't clearer.
I'm running 4.1.1, OSX 10.3.8.
After the scene change, the first bar plays through, and then repeats itself infinately. This is happenning with all sets, not just one. As I said before, this is only happenning when I use the return key to move to the next scene, all other methods seem to work fine.
Thanks!

Hello Sgingras,
We´re unable to reproduce this behaviour here.
Can you mail me a small test set where this is demonstrat?
Does always the first bar loop, no matter of the actual loop length?
mailto: [email protected]
It might be helpful to include your "Log.txt" file
(-> see http://www.ableton.com/index.php?main=faq)
