hey guys, i have been looking for a new soundcard for some time now and have decided on either the komplete audio 6 or the akai eie pro. was just wondering if theres any other's i should look at. they need to be in the same price zone though

Depends on how many ins/outs you need. If you can keep it low, the focusrite 2i2 is worth checking out. I've recently switched to it (from the Komplete 6), and its been a great experience so far. If you need more than 2 ins/outs, the NI is a great choice.

Honestly, I cannot do without my Apogee Ensmble and Duet. I highly recommend them.

cheers guys. yeah heard that the duet was a good soundcard and the focusrite is also sick but i need more than 2 ins

Ensemble has 8
