Eq 8 with an inbuilt spectrum analyser

Having seen some tutorials for fruity loops PEQ2, im just dying to have an Eq8 with an inbuilt graphic spectrum analyser. I know we're dealing with sound but when you can see the frequencies under the EQ settings it makes it so much faster to to get a good mix. And if this went ahead could the spectrum analyser look a bit less like a linear graph and more like a presentable device. Not having a go at Ableton but they look like crap on an excel spread sheet.

thoughts?

I defiantly think this would be a good improvement -
And it's not a linear scale, it's a log scale isn't it? Which you can change between wave or lines and log and equal scales?

+ 1 for the spectrum, with obvious benefit to all stages in music production.

but - 1 for any specific design change to Ableton, Ableton's simple GUI is what has made it a stand out product for years, and I can't say I'm wanting that to change.

There are aspects of it's real estate that could be improved for users such as undocking of library or if you like splitting the interface over 2 screens, but as for the simple dials and knobs, they are the holy grail and must not be touched or the pillars will come crashing down... 8O

why not just build the two together and save as an fx rack, that would take about 4 secongs
