Have Chain select Macros display name of chain

Example: I have a MIDI effect rack with a number of chains, and each chain represents a type of chord (maj, min, 7, etc). This allows me to just play a single note & then use the chain select to pick the chord type. The only thing that sucks about it is that the macro doesn't display WHICH chain is selected, just a generic value. I can leave the chain display open & tell what's what, but would be nice if the macro display just had the value/name of the parameter it was controlling.

Hey old post, but did you find a solution to this?

Picking this post up again, after 8 years. It seems easy enough to implement, I just can't stand the generic values for chain selektor.

I too would support this. Maybe add "Show Chain Name" feature in the Chain List similar to how one can display preset names of a Drum Rack in the Piano Roll.
