Midi mapping and multi-recording

First,
How do I map the keyboard arrow keys to midi? I have an application that I developed in Lemur and I want to <press> the right arrow key(to do a step record) by pressing a button om my Lemur template. Where do you map midi to the computer keyboard?

Second,
My app sends out midi note information on 2 channels which I want on 2 separate midi tracks but which I need to record at the same time. Can this be done?

Thanks,

joeb

Ask the manual! It knows...

I HAVE READ THE MANUAL!!!!

But
A. All I find is some inference to opening up the Key Mapping. Someone who actually WANTED to help PM'd me with the answer.
B. I still have no idea on the multitrack recording.

I only post to forums when I can't find the answer in the manual, or it doesn't make sense and I need a little more help which
"READ THE MANUAL" certainly isn't. May you reach an impasse where you need help and someone tells you
"READ THE MANUAL"

BAH,

Did you get any joy with the arrow keys mapping in the end? I'd love to do exactly the same thing, and no answer seems to be forthcoming...
Cheers!

ferdosnandos,

Yes, some one suggested a program, midiStroke which works great and I've been using for several months with no issues. As far as the multi track recording I put together 2 more tracks which will split notes at a certain point (C0) and send notes equal to C0 or above to one track and notes below to another track. These tracks then send MIDI to my hardware VST on the correct channels. Also working for quite a while.

Hope this helps,

Joe B

No problem! I know how frustrating it can be to beat your brains out looking for answers and get nothing.

Open a midi clip in note view. Turn on mapping.

Where the step record monitor button is, two arrows will also appear.

Edit: fight the dragon and collect the crystals. Then head into a forest to the east where you will find a home in a tree with a little old wizard living therein. Offer to trade the crystals. This is how you will gain the Enchanted Shield.
