More/Custom key commands please

I know what your about to say: "Press Command+K and you can assign your key commands".

Well yes, but not a few things. What about Clip Warp? Or Clip Reverse? Or Midi Clip Fold?

And what about to view the browser, device draw, mixer etc.
These commands a all three pronged: Command+Option+B or M or L

For me, three keys for something I press a few times a minute, is a bit ridiculous.

We should be able to edit these ourselves. Fully!

Until ableton changes this I recommend using autohotkey if you're on a pc.
The three-button key commands are just silly. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to open and close the browser by just pressing "b" (and using autohotkey I did just that :))

because every time you type the word "bass" the browser moves?

Yes, that's why ableton needs to implement it themselves, so that it can be context sensitive. Reaper, for example, does just that. It is not a very difficult thing to implement.

not neccesarily. In autohotkey you can set it up so that the script disables when you press "ctrl-r" to rename a track for instance, and then re-enables once you hit enter. This way you can still type normally while renaming. (you just have to remember to use ctrl-r to rename.)
Believe me it works.

And of course if Ableton would program this natively I'm sure they could make it behave the same way, so that such a hotkey would be disabled when you're typing text into a name box.
This kind of functionality works fine in many other programs.
