Looking to get a similiar vibe and just can't nail it at all...

Someone with greater knowledge wanna give me their two cents?

The vibe of these two songs are a lot more than just the synth sounds..
Considering there's 10 minutes of music, several synths and 2 different songs I would try to be a little more precise in exactly what youre trying to achieve here.

....but I would start with some triangle waveforms, unison, detuned a bit, some low-passing, some glide, maybe some chorus, try out different chords to set the right mood, etc..
