i know big chocolate uses melodyne to do whatever the fuck he does in it. what are some possibilities that melodyne can do to a dubstep bassline that you sample yourself?

can you process vowels on the bassline to make it sound clean?

In addition to pitch shifting and controlling formants, Melodyne lets you edit (and quantize) timing of notes. I can see how to use it for dubstep bass lines, but I wouldn't buy it just for that.

I bought it for the pitch correction, it's the best tool out there at this time.

It can also grab midi from audio, which comes in well handy when remixing

with melodyne you can take a door screek and make a song out of it
