Hey kids,

I've just released the first version of my DJ Template for the OhmRGB. Link is at http://willmarshall.me/products/dj-template-pro-ohmrgb, video:

It's pretty much the same deal as the APC40 template, but remapped (and with a new remote script) for the OhmRGB instead.

It's a lot nicer than the APC40. The hardware is laid out more ergonomically, the components are better, the whole package is smaller/lighter.

It's also been designed to be easy to program, so when I was writing the Python script for it I had a much easier time than when dealing with the APC40.

Thanks for your thoughts, been curious about it myself.

For most purposes I would enthusiastically recommend it over the APC40. Especially if you're primarily using it on stage.

However, the APC40 does have lots of little Ableton-specific buttons the OhmRGB doesn't, as well as the endless encoders, so if you were using it heavily in the studio (recording instruments or FX automation) then the APC might be a better choice.

I think your script is amazing! I'd love to use it in a live situation. There's only one thing I would love to see different...
Is it possible to change the (live)grid into 7x7. the 8th column for scene launch and the bottom row for midi mapping to plugins etc.

I'm trying to find, or program such a script but having a hard time with it, maybe you can help me out?
