undo pollution from live.text

I have just uploaded SelDevCtrl to maxforlive.com.
I have attempted to set the live.text buttons (left/right/higher/deeper) to stored/hidden to avoid undo pollution, but doing that means that I cannot MIDI bind the buttons anymore, which defeats the purpose of the device. What do?
