Test your music at my club!

Post by ze2be » Tue Jun 12, 2012 8:06 am

Hi!

My name is Kim, and I run a regular techno club in Oslo, Norway.
If you like, I can test run your music for a great listening audience.
We will or can if you like make a contract so that you feel secure
that your music stays yours only. Ive been running a record label
for years, and are used to keep unreleased music safe.

Regarding techno and dance music culture, I have 22 years of
experience in the field.

Stuf that has cought my attention lately:
Dub Techno, LoFi Techno,
HiFi Techno, Minimal Techno,
Progressive Minimal, Experimental,
Original Techno, Raw and Wild Techno,
Original Consept Techno, Hypnotic Atmospheres,
High Tech Soul, Be-Ne-Lux Techno,
Or anything that stands out of the crowd really.

Atm im not so much looking for:
Funky House, Deep House
Club Disco, etc.

I reallise there are some cool rough House out there that aint
to Disco, but these are just some guide lines and not strict rules.

Thanks!

Love & Respect,
Kim

Cool!

(I guess my recent ventures into funky Chicago/Detroit fusion house won't be of interest, then?) :P

Thanks! Hmm. Reminds me of Nam Shub Of Enki, Doctor Rockit, and the likes. (Mathew Herbert aka Doctor Rockit is one of my favorite lofi artists. Preferably under the name Herbert) Its a creative and original track you have here. The sound reminds me of some australian artists. 156 bpm is to fast for my club though. And the style doesnt fit my style very well. But that shouldnt bother you. Its still a nice track! In my world it might fit better in a TV show then in a techno club.

Very nice! Thanks. Seems like your heading for the charts with this. Could be some sort of pop hit.

Doesnt fit this techno club, but it will fit a lof ot other clubs for sure. :)

funken wrote:I've just had some advice today on that tune from a quite well known house producer as it happens. It used to have vocals on and a bit of extra synth so I agree with him, it needs a bit more here and there now they are gone.
It sounds good, just a little dry and loopey. It would help a lot if there was some small rythmic variations in the notes here and there, just to make it sound a bit more like a musical performence rather then static loops. Also might agree with that producer, it might do good with a bit more content. The mix is good, the rythm and theme is nice. I like the dub-techno cord stab.

Very nice and deep dub track. :)
Im mostly looking for techno here, but theres always room for some dub early at the club.

Thanks! Do you play stuff straight from SC?

There's some other dub tracks on there as well.
