MPK Mini and Ableton Live help

Hey guys,
So I've got the MPK Mini script from mothergarage's blog and things are working fine but I've got a question.
Basically, when I choose say, a 909 drum kit and add it to a midi channel, I can see where the little squares light up
at the bottom and so I can transpose my keyboard up and down octaves until the keys can play those sounds. My question is,
how do I configure the pads so that they're the ones triggering the sounds. I would like to use exclusively the pads for drum kits.
Also beyond that, how would I go about using multiple instruments for the keys? What I mean is, if I have three midi channels with
piano, horns, and a synth, will it be enough to simply arm whichever one I want to play using the keys or is there more to the configuration?
Thank you all in advance.
