even with a P4 3GH 1Go RAM, Edirol FA101 ASIO I quickly get CPU over 70percent, using less than 10 VST, resulting sparkles in sound. I was very impressed with the steinberg VST link system solution: with two PC that got digitalin/out it let u use two different PC on the same project.

DSP powercore is a solution, but im sure lots of people have two or more computer. IT would be great to be able to make a sytem like this, either lan network or optical link, so live could use two or more processors.

ie: one PC is midi/audio sequencer the other is rendering FX....

FX Teleport works quite good if your networks is fast enough. Great way to use several
computers and not having to shell out for a lot of soundcards

Thinking about this more ~ it would be absolutely perfect if there were a solution to do the SAME THING to the Audio Engine of Live. I have a laptop & a dual Opteron system. I can just imagine the things I could do if I could shuffle Audio Engine threads (assuming Live5 will have a multi-threaded Audio Engine core) to the dual cpu system.
